La scorsa estato ho fatto un tour della Turchia alla scoperta delle parti più remote di questa terra. Sbalordita dalla sua bellezza quest’anno sono stata in un Paese che le assomiglia per diversi motivi… la Giordania ! Durante i due viaggi ho avuto il piacere di scoprire che da quelle parti hanno un mercato d’argento a dir poco fiorente. Ho acquistato dei grossi anelli (ovviamente da esporre) che venivano utilizzati per firmare i sigilli in cera. Sono d’argento lavorato ed intarsiato con pietre di diversi colori ed in particolar modo con la pietra turchese che, in Turchia, è una di quelle più popolari.

Last summer i went on a guided tour in Turkey in order to visit some of the most wonderful places of th world. Amazed by its beauty, this summer I went to a place that is similar to it for different reasons… Jordan! During this two travels I came to know that in thos Nations there is a great silver trade. I bought this big signet rings that were used to sign wax seals. They’re made of wrought silver and they’re inlaid with lots pf coloured stones such as turquois that is very popular in Turkey.
